Since trains are often overcrowded on exam days, Western Railway (WR) has announced special trains for NEET candidates to ensure a hassle-free journey and timely arrival at exam centers.
According to Western Railway, three pairs—totaling 6 special trains—will operate on June 20 and 21 to cater to student convenience and the increased demand for travel. Ahmedabad–Mumbai (Maninagar–Bandra Terminus) Special Train
Train No. 09472: Departs from Maninagar at 8:30 AM on June 20 and arrives at Bandra Terminus at 6:15 PM on the same day.
Train No. 09471: Departs from Bandra Terminus at approximately 9:15 PM on June 20 and arrives at Maninagar at 6:00 AM on June 21.
Okha–Gandhinagar Capital Special Train
Train No. 09554: This train departs from Okha at 5:00 AM on June 20 and arrives at Gandhinagar Capital around 3:00 PM.
Train No. 09553: It will depart from Gandhinagar at 8:55 PM on June 21 and reach Okha by 6:40 AM on June 22.
Bhavnagar Terminus–Gandhigram Special Train
Train No. 09254: This train will depart from Bhavnagar Terminus at approximately 11:40 AM on June 20 and reach Gandhigram by 4:10 PM.
Train No. 09253: It will depart from Gandhigram at 8:00 PM on June 21 and reach Bhavnagar Terminus by around 12:35 AM on June 22.
Coaches for both Sleeper and General classes will be available on all these special trains, and stops have been scheduled at multiple stations for the convenience of students. The primary objective of these trains is to spare students from any inconvenience during the examination period, ensuring they can take their exams without difficulty.
