Iran’s President (Iranian President) Masoud Pezheskian is angry about this incident. Recently, it was claimed by a British media that Iranian President Pezheskian has sent a letter of resignation to Khamenei after making a series of accusations against the IRGC. Where he has alleged, the IRGC is running arbitrariness. By avoiding the elected government of the country, they are making important decisions themselves. Day by day, the vacuum created by this situation has strengthened the radical groups within the IRGC. They are gradually taking control of the country. He has been unable to run the government and fulfill his legal responsibilities due to IRGC dominance.

However, even though this claim was made by foreign media, Iran completely rejected it. Citing official sources, Iranian media reported that the president did not resign. He has fulfilled his duty in this difficult time. Besides, Syed Mehdi Tabatabai, Deputy Head of Communications and Information Department of the President’s Office, gave a statement on this issue to X Handle. He said, ‘The work of this infamous foreign network is to spread rumours. They have been making such ridiculous claims since the beginning. which is baseless. Instead of reality, their own imagination.’ He also wrote, ‘Just as the president will not retreat from the path of national unity and resistance in Iran, he will not retreat from serving the people. Those who are conspiring to destroy the unity of Iran will be buried in their graves.
