Kathmandu. Political turmoil has intensified in Nepal due to a statement by Nepalese PM Balen Shah. Reportedly, after Balen Shah’s remarks, the country’s politics has heated up and opposition parties have started targeting him. Voices of protest are being raised regarding the statement from Parliament to the streets. The opposition has targeted him, so now demonstrations have started against Balen Shah on the streets of Kathmandu also.
Actually, after this statement of Nepali PM, there was a heated debate inside the Parliament. Critics allege that he has weakened Nepal’s position on long-standing territorial disputes and increased India’s diplomatic leverage. It is surprising that this controversy has now reached the streets from the Parliament. There are reports of demonstrations in Maitighar, Kathmandu. People protesting at some places raised slogans against Balen Shah.

People made many allegations against Nepali PM
According to a report by The Kathmandu Post, hundreds of protesters have accused Bale Shah of making anti-national statements. The protesting people say that everyone should protect the sovereignty of Nepal. The protesting people demand that the PM should apologise. At the same time, some protesters said that Balen Shah should resign.
People took to the streets against Shah
According to media reports, Tarun Dal affiliated with Nepali Congress organized a peaceful protest march in Maitighar Mandla. In this he alleged that PM Balen Shah’s remarks are irresponsible and should be condemned. Along with Kathmandu, different organizations also protested against Balen Shah in different cities of Nepal.
