Popular Pakistani television actress Momina Iqbal has raised serious concerns over her personal safety, alleging that she has been subjected to prolonged online harassment, cyberbullying, and life threats linked to a sitting Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) associated with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

Momina Iqbal, known for her strong performances in hit dramas such as Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3, Ehd-e-Wafa, Ishq Mein Kaafir, Mere Humnasheen, and the recent Do Kinaray, took to Instagram to share her distressing experience with fans and the public.

In her detailed statement shared via Instagram stories, the actress claimed that not only she but also her family has been receiving threats for an extended period of time. She alleged that despite repeatedly approaching relevant authorities, including the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), and Punjab Police, no meaningful action has been taken so far.

According to her, the matter has allegedly been influenced by political pressure, which has resulted in delays and attempts to silence her complaints. She further claimed that individuals connected to political offices reportedly tried to discourage her from pursuing legal action, adding to her frustration and fear.

Momina Iqbal expressed deep concern over the situation, stating that her efforts to seek justice have instead led to increased intimidation. She said the ongoing harassment has created an unsafe environment for her and her family, forcing her to speak publicly about the issue.

In her appeal, the actress urged senior authorities, including Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, to take immediate notice of the matter and ensure an impartial investigation. She emphasized the need for transparent legal proceedings and requested protection for her family until the situation is resolved.

She also warned that if the issue continues to be ignored, she may be compelled to hold a public press conference and present all available evidence to the alleged harassment and obstruction of justice.

Following her statement, social media users have begun tagging relevant government institutions and demanding swift action. The incident has sparked widespread discussion online, with many calling for accountability and protection for individuals raising their voices against alleged abuse of power.

The matter remains under public attention as users await an official response from the concerned authorities.
