CM Yogi Adityanath Infrastructure Review Meeting: CM Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to complete expressways, logistics hubs and urban projects in mission mode. The government has set a target of ensuring 90% land acquisition for major expressway projects by May 31, so that the work can proceed rapidly.
Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to pursue expressways, industrial parks, logistics hubs and urban projects in mission mode. The Chief Minister has said that wherever there are procedural hurdles, they should be removed on priority basis and the projects should be completed on time. While reviewing the updated progress of major infrastructure projects being conducted in the state in the State Transformation Commission meeting on Saturday, the Chief Minister said that soon the foundation stone of the unit of Bharat Electronics Limited is going to be laid in Chitrakoot node of Defense Corridor. Before this, the financial tender of Chitrakoot Link Expressway should be completed. He reviewed the land acquisition for Chitrakoot Link, Farrukhabad Link and Jewar Link Expressway and took information from the concerned District Magistrates.
Land Acquisition and Compensation Process
The Chief Minister directed that 90% land availability for these expressways should be ensured by May 31. Where rate revision is necessary, proposals should be sent immediately. It will be reviewed by the Chief Minister's Office after 15 days. The Chief Minister directed that direct communication should be held with the land owners. They should be given appropriate compensation and the proceedings should be taken forward by deploying additional manpower for the registry. He said that the Chief Minister gave instructions to speed up the work for Agra-Lucknow-Purvanchal Link, Jhansi Link and Meerut-Haridwar Expressway.
Development of convention center and logistics hub
It was informed in the meeting that the letter of award has been issued for the construction of the proposed world class convention center in the capital Lucknow. The Chief Minister gave instructions to prepare for its foundation stone laying. Describing the Multi Modal Logistics Hub and Multi Modal Transport Hub being developed in Greater Noida as a game-changer for the logistics sector of the state, the Chief Minister said that these projects will connect the state to the national and global supply chain. It was informed in the meeting that out of 323 hectares, 301 hectares of land has been acquired for the Multi Model Logistics Hub, which has paved the way for taking the work forward.
Model Composite School Review
Reviewing the Chief Minister Model Composite School Scheme, the Chief Minister said that this initiative will set new standards of quality education in the state. It was told in the meeting that 150 schools are to be constructed in 75 districts, out of which work has started for 59 schools and the tender process for 67 schools is in progress. He gave instructions to expedite the remaining projects. The Chief Minister stressed on giving priority to a good location for setting up a school.
Industrial development and investment friendly policies
To speed up industrial development, the Chief Minister stressed on early implementation of Model Building Bylaws by making them investment friendly. It was informed in the meeting that the draft bylaw has been issued for public suggestions, which will ensure a transparent and simple regulatory system. Emphasizing on better utilization of industrial plots, the Chief Minister said that industries should be established on the allotted land within the stipulated time limit. Communicate with investors and proceedings should proceed on time. The Chief Minister directed to adopt innovation and competition based approach to promote bio energy and CBG projects.
Seed Park, Textile Park and Employment Generation
The Chief Minister was informed that work is going on to develop the proposed Seed Park and Textiles Park in Lucknow as major centers of agricultural and industrial development. The process of developer selection is being carried forward rapidly. Describing these projects as extremely important from the point of view of investment and employment generation, the Chief Minister gave instructions to ensure timely progress.
Urban development and modern transportation systems
Reviewing the Chief Minister Green Road Infrastructure Development Scheme, the Chief Minister said that this scheme is important towards modernizing and making urban roads accessible. He directed to complete all the pending works expeditiously. Describing the Integrated City Bus Terminal, Vrindavan Scheme, Lucknow Project as an important part of the modern urban transport system, the Chief Minister said that it will provide better facilities to the citizens.
