- 1 cup semolina (rava)
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1/2 cup water (as needed)
- 1/2 cup finely chopped vegetables (onion, tomato, capsicum)
- 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
- 1/2 tsp ginger (grated)
- salt as per taste
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- Bread Slice (4-6)
- Butter or oil (for baking)
How to make Semolina Sandwich
Semolina Sandwich is a tasty snack recipe. To prepare this Kanare, first add semolina and curd in a bowl and mix well. Prepare a thick batter by adding water little by little. Keep it covered for 10-15 minutes so that the semolina swells.
Now add chopped vegetables, green chillies, ginger, salt, black pepper and chaat masala to the prepared batter and mix well. This will enhance the taste of the sandwich even more.
Take bread slices and spread semolina batter well on one side. Keep in mind that the batter should not be too thick, so that it can cook properly. Heat a pan or sandwich maker and apply some butter or oil on it.
Now bake the bread with the batter side facing down. When it becomes light golden, turn it and cook the other side also. When the sandwich becomes crispy and golden brown on both sides, take it out in a plate. You can serve it with green chutney or tomato sauce.
