Step 1: Open notification history
Go to your phone’s settings.
Go to Notifications, and find Notification History.
Turn on Notification History. (You can also search for it directly in the Settings search bar.)
Step 2: Keep WhatsApp notifications on
Make sure WhatsApp notifications are turned on on your device.
From now on, even if someone deletes a message, it will still appear in your notification history.
Step 3: View deleted messages
Deleted messages will appear as notifications in the notification history.
You can read them right there without any additional apps.
Important points:
Notification History only stores messages for 24 hours, so be quick.
You can’t recover deleted photos, videos, audios, or links—only text messages will be saved.
