Bank Holiday Marathi News: The Indian stock market will be closed on Monday, April 7 for the birth anniversary of Ambedkar. According to the holiday calendar, there will be no transactions between the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday. On the other hand, banks will be closed for 7 consecutive days as it is a holiday on Monday.

Banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. The second Saturday is coming on April 7. Therefore, there will be no work in the banks on this day. So, because of the weekly holiday on Sunday, banks are closed. Ambedkar's birth anniversary is coming on Monday and according to the RBI calendar, banks will be closed on this day in many states including Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya and Himachal Pradesh.
