Today's recipe is called Raghani Pitha Dhokla. Yes, you heard right. Till now you may have eaten soft dhokla made of gram flour but the healthy version of the same, dhokla made of gram flour can also be a good option for breakfast. This dhokla is not only nutritious but also tastes great. So let's learn step by step how to make soft, netty dhokla from ragi batter.
Material
- Ragi flour 90 grams
- Semolina 120 grams
- Salt 1 tsp
- Curd 1 cup
- Ginger-chili paste 1 tsp
- Powdered sugar 1 tablespoon
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Ino 1.5 tsp
- Mustard half spoon
- Two green chillies
- Sesame seeds 1 tsp
- Coriander

- To prepare nachni dhokla, first of all, combine nachni flour, semolina and curd in a large bowl.
- Now add one and a half cups of water and stir the mixture well, taking care not to form lumps.
- Now add salt, ginger-chilli paste, powdered sugar and a spoonful of oil to it and cover the prepared batter for 20 minutes.
- Now grease a bowl with oil from all sides.
- Add ino to the prepared ragi batter and stir the mixture well once again.
- Now pour the prepared batter into oil greased pan.
- Put water in a big pot or idli mold and keep it on heat and once the water boils, place the pot with the batter in it.
- Cover the top and let the mixture cook well on medium flame for 20 to 25 minutes.
- After 20 minutes open the lid and check if the dhokla is cooked or not with the help of a knife or fork.
- If the knife comes out with raw batter, know that the dhokla needs to be cooked for a few more minutes. However, if the dough does not stick, your dhokla is cooked properly.
- Once the dhokla is cooked, switch off the flame and after cooling, remove the dhokla in a plate.
- Now heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chillies, sesame seeds and fry it. one
- After minutes add little water and sugar to it and then switch off the flame when the sugar melts.
- Finally pour the prepared bhodni over the dhokla on a plate and cut it into square pieces and serve to eat the ragi dhokla.
