Kathmandu. During the disaster in Nepal, till now 29 countries including major international organizations have extended cooperation and support to Nepal. Some countries have provided essential humanitarian assistance, while some have also sent relief materials along with economic assistance.
According to the press briefing of the Ministry of External Affairs on Friday afternoon, the countries that provided solidarity and cooperation at the time of disaster include India, China, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Britain, Japan, America, Qatar, Singapore.
These include South Korea, Australia, Germany, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Myanmar, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Norway, Israel, Canada, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, New Zealand, Denmark, Switzerland, Ireland and the Czech Republic.
Similarly, European Union, Asian Development Bank, World Bank, United Nations and other friendly countries and international organizations have also provided assistance to Nepal.
Apart from this, assistance has also been announced for Nepal at individual level and on behalf of social organizations. The Government of Nepal has expressed gratitude to all the countries, international organizations, institutions and those who cooperated.
