Health Desk. Liver is a very important organ for the body, but many diseases to it can progress without any specific symptoms in the beginning. Therefore, instead of ignoring such changes, it is important to get them checked on time.
1. Fatty Liver
In fatty liver, excessive fat starts accumulating in the liver cells. There are often no obvious symptoms in the initial stages. Some people may feel tired or feel discomfort in the right upper part of the stomach. If lifestyle and medical advice are not taken care of in time, then in some cases this disease can further cause inflammation and serious damage to the liver.
2. Hepatitis
In hepatitis, there is swelling in the liver. There can be many reasons for this and viral hepatitis is one of its main reasons. Possible signs include fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach discomfort, dark urine, and yellowing of the eyes or skin. The thing to note is that many people do not show any symptoms in the initial stage. Therefore, if there is a risk, it is important to get checked by consulting a doctor.
3. Liver Cirrhosis
In cirrhosis, the liver may develop permanent scarring and hardness after long-term damage to the liver. Initially there may be symptoms like fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss and stomach pain. As the disease progresses, problems like jaundice and accumulation of water in the stomach may appear. In many cases, liver disease does not give clear signs until it has progressed significantly. Therefore, changes like persistent weakness, loss of appetite, swelling in the stomach or yellowing of the eyes should not be ignored.
Be alert if these signs appear in eyes, skin and stomach
Yellowing of the eyes or skin, dark urine, persistent abdominal pain or unusual swelling, unexplained weight loss and extreme fatigue may be signs of liver problems. However, there can be many other reasons for these symptoms, so the disease should not be concluded on the basis of symptoms alone.
