BFUHS Medical Officer Recruitment 2026: Here is an important update for MBBS-qualified candidates preparing for government jobs. Today, August 5, 2026, is the last day to apply for the recruitment of 630 Medical Officer (General) posts announced by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot. **Who can apply?**
Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
Candidates must be registered with the Punjab Medical Council or any other recognized medical council in India.
Candidates must have knowledge of the Punjabi language up to the matriculation level. However, those who do not possess this qualification must fulfill this requirement within six months of appointment.

Candidates already employed in government service must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of application. Additionally, candidates applying under the sports quota must possess a Sports Gradation Certificate issued by the Government of Punjab.

The age will be calculated as of January 1, 2026. The minimum age is set at 18 years, and the maximum age at 37 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules.

What is the salary?

Candidates will be selected based on a written examination carrying 100 marks. Securing a minimum of 33 percent marks is mandatory to qualify for the exam. Final selection will be based on merit and applicable reservation rules.
