AIIMS Bathinda Faculty Recruitment 2026: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bathinda, has invited applications for direct recruitment to Group-A faculty positions. A total of 77 posts—comprising Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor—will be filled through this recruitment drive. The institute has also clarified that if suitable candidates are not found for the posts of Additional Professor or Associate Professor, these positions may be filled at a lower rank (e.g., Assistant Professor) for a period of 5 to 7 years.

**What are the required educational qualifications?**
Candidates must possess educational qualifications and experience recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), the National Medical Commission (NMC), or the Government of India.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive a salary in accordance with the 7th Pay Commission. Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other allowances will also be provided for eligible posts.

Selection Process

Applications will be scrutinized first. If the number of applications is high, a written examination may be conducted to shortlist candidates.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. Final selection will be based on performance in the interview and medical fitness.

Important Recruitment Details

There will be a probation period of two years following the appointment.
These are full-time posts; therefore, private practice is not permitted.
The New Pension Scheme (NPS) will apply to selected employees.
Duty must generally be assumed within 30 days of the issuance of the appointment letter.
