During a recent episode of Indian Idol Season 16, singer Papon took the stage alongside judge Shreya Ghoshal to perform the classic ‘Aap Ki Aankhon Mein’. This performance was part of the lead-up to the show's grand finale, which is set for July 25 and 26. The finale will also feature notable personalities such as Usha Uthup, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Shehnaaz Gill, and Urmila Matondkar, all coming together to celebrate this significant event.
When asked about what made their duet special, Ghoshal emphasized the unique chemistry she shares with Papon. She remarked, “I think it’s special because I sang with Papon today. Our chemistry is something else,” noting that their musical sessions often take place in a relaxed setting away from the spotlight. “When we sit on the floor at home and sing, it’s so much more enjoyable,” she added.
Papon, touched by her words, responded succinctly, stating, “It’s a blessing to live and sing together with you.”
The top finalists for this season include Anshika Chonkar, Jyotirmayee Nayak, Manraj Veer Singh, Myscmme Bosu, Suhail Sufi, and Tanishk Shukla.
