A different style of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was seen in Bulandshahr. CM Yogi, who arrived on his tour on Saturday, launched a fierce verbal attack on Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. Addressing Akhilesh as ‘Babua’, he raised strong questions on the working style of the old governments. CM Yogi said that before 2017, the governments did not have time to listen to the problems of the people, their entire day was spent in their personal routine.

‘There was no time for the public, the only work was gym and gatherings’

Chief Minister Yogi sarcastically said that the daily routine of the ‘babuas’ in the earlier government was very interesting. He used to wake up at 12 noon and then get ready to go to the gym at 5 pm. After this their gatherings were organised. CM clearly said that where did such people have time to serve the poor people of the state? He alleged that before 2017, Uttar Pradesh was counted among the last three states of the country in terms of development.

Double engine government and the new wave of development

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Yogi gave the account of the development works of the last nine years. He said that today the Ganga of development is flowing in the state, which is the contribution of the double engine government. Referring to big projects like Noida International Airport and Ganga Expressway, he said that these are the results of the visionary thinking of the BJP government. The CM reminded that in the previous government, the benefits of the schemes given to the poor never reached them, whereas today every eligible person is getting ration and housing without any discrimination.

Rule of law and control on mafias

Attacking the law and order of previous governments, CM Yogi said that before 2017, there was an atmosphere of fear among women and businessmen in the state. He told that earlier daughters used to stop going to school due to fear of goons and traders were forced to close their shops as soon as the sun sets. Besides, he also raised the issue of sale of sugar mills and corruption during the BSP rule. The CM said with pride that today there is no rule of mafia in Uttar Pradesh, but rule of law. He assured that this development journey of the double engine government will continue without any stop till the year 2047.

It is noteworthy that during this visit, CM Yogi Adityanath gave a big gift to Bulandshahr. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 57 important development projects costing about Rs 574 crore in the district, which will give a new impetus to the development of the area.
