IND W vs ENG W Test Toss: The historic Test match between the Indian and English women's teams has begun at Lord's, London, known as the Mecca of cricket. This is the first Test match in cricket history to be played at Lord's. Host England won the toss and elected to bowl. Team India was invited to bat first. 21-year-old spinner Shri Charani made her debut for Team India.
This is the only Test match between the two teams. Prior to this, the Indian and England women's teams played a three-match T20 series. India lost the T20 series 1-2. Now, India and England face off in the Test series, for which both have selected interesting playing elevens.
