On Monday, Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), launched a fierce critique against Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding alleged irregularities in the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He questioned why individuals supposedly involved in "theft and land scams" are being shielded. This statement was made in response to a social media post by the Prime Minister, where he praised BJP leader Nitin Naveen's simplicity. Kejriwal referenced the Prime Minister's post on the social media platform X, stating, 'Thank you for sharing information about Nitin Ji. The entire nation wants to know why those involved in theft, land scams, and commission-taking in the Ram Temple construction are being protected? When will they receive strict punishment?'

This political discourse was sparked when Prime Minister Modi commended BJP leader Nitin Naveen for his simplicity and straightforwardness. Following anecdotes shared by an associate about Naveen's humble student life, Modi expressed his admiration. He cited a post from Naveen's childhood friend, Piyush Padmakar, emphasizing that such values are a source of pride for every BJP worker. This incident occurred after Kejriwal had previously mocked Naveen, who accused opposition leaders of remaining silent on the "disrespect" towards Hindu deities.

In a post on X targeting Naveen, Kejriwal asked, 'Who are you?' This was in response to Naveen's speech at a BJP power center coordinator conference in Lucknow, where he stated, 'Today, I want to tell Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, and Kejriwal not to underestimate Hinduism to the point where people fall for your rhetoric.'
