Redmi has finally entered the Over-Ear Headphones segment. The company has launched its first Redmi Over-Ear Headphones in China. These headphones have been introduced with Redmi K90 Ultra. The new headphones have premium features like 42dB Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), 72 hours of battery life, 40mm Titanium-Plated Dynamic Drivers and Hi-Res Audio. The company has introduced them at an affordable price, making them a strong alternative to True Wireless Earbuds.

Features and specifications of Redmi Over-Ear Headphones
A minimalist design can be seen in Redmi’s new Over-Ear Headphones. For better portability, they have been provided with foldable earcups. Their weight is approximately 263 grams.

Protein Leather Ear Cushions and Slow-Rebound Foam have been used in the headphones for comfortable use. At the same time, the earcups with 110-degree rotation and 15-degree tilt provide better fitting according to different head shapes. Furthermore, the adjustable metal headband ensures both strength and comfort.

Strong audio quality
Redmi has provided 40mm Titanium-Plated Dynamic Drivers in these headphones, which come with an independent Acoustic Chamber. This provides better sound quality and less distortion. The headphones support 96kHz/24-bit Lossless Audio playback via USB Audio and have also received Hi-Res Audio Certification. Users also get the option of a 10-Band Custom Equalizer with 4 preset EQ Modes, allowing the audio settings to be changed as per their preference.

42dB ANC and AI calling features
These headphones have support for 42dB Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). It has three ANC modes like Deep, Balanced and Light. For better calling, the company has provided Triple Microphone AI Calling System, which provides Wind Noise Reduction even in wind up to 5m/s.

Battery will last for 72 hours
Redmi Over-Ear Headphones come with a 600mAh battery, which claims to provide up to 72 hours of playback time on a single charge. Apart from this, Fast Charging support is also available, where music can be listened to for about 5 hours in just 10 minutes of charging.

Connectivity and smart features
Smart features like Bluetooth Connectivity, Dual Device Pairing, Audio Sharing, Notification Broadcast and Xiaomi HyperConnect have been provided in the headphones. Apart from this, features like Quick Pairing, Precise Device Finding and Audio Transfer between Compatible Devices are also available.

Price of Redmi Over-Ear Headphones
Redmi has kept the price of these headphones at 349 Yuan (about 50 dollars) i.e. about ₹ 3,500. However, under the initial offer, they can be purchased for 297 Yuan (about 40 dollars) i.e. about ₹ 3,000. These headphones are available in Jazz Blue, Symphony White and Rock Black color options. Currently, their sales have started in China through Xiaomi’s official sales channels. The company has not yet shared any information regarding its launch in India or the global market.
