Attacking SP-Congress in Rampur, CM Yogi said that those who used to fire at Ram devotees are today talking about devotion to Ram. He also accused Congress of denying the existence of Ram and Krishna. CM also launched projects worth Rs 690 crore.

Rampur (Uttar Pradesh) [भारत]June 30 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party and Congress. He accused Lord Ram of hypocrisy and questioned his sudden display of devotion after opposing Ram devotees. Addressing a public meeting after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of development projects worth over Rs 690 crore in Rampur, the Chief Minister said that those who once ordered lathi charge on those raising slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram' were now advocating 'Ram Bhakti'.

'Those who opened fire on Ram devotees are talking about devotion today'

CM Yogi said, "Those who used to lathicharge on raising slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram' are today advocating 'Ram Bhakti'. Those who used to open fire on Ram devotees are today talking about devotion towards Lord Ram. Congress, which had refused to believe in Lord Ram and Lord Krishna before 2017, is eager to go to Ayodhya today."

He specifically targeted the Congress party, saying it had refused to believe in Lord Ram and Lord Krishna before 2017 but is now eager to go to Ayodhya. He said, "The Congress, which had refused to believe in Lord Ram and Lord Krishna before 2017, is eager to go to Ayodhya today. Lord Ram knows who is right and who is wrong. They are worried about how Ayodhya and Kashi Vishwanath became so beautiful?... Now when they are unable to do anything, they are resorting to lies."

'Development of all is taking place without discrimination'

The Chief Minister stressed that development in Uttar Pradesh is now uniform and inclusive and there is no discrimination between districts. He said, "When it comes to development, there is no discrimination now. If one district gets electricity, all 75 districts in the state will get electricity. Development will not stop now. No one can play with the lives of the youth. Today, no one in the state can make objectionable remarks against women."

Gift of Rs 690 crore to Rampur

The Chief Minister said that the development projects will accelerate the development of Rampur and strengthen the state's vision of a developed Uttar Pradesh. In a post on Twitter, Adityanath said the inauguration and foundation stone laying of 102 development projects worth over Rs 690 crore in Milak and Bilaspur assembly constituencies will give "new momentum and a new direction" to the development of Rampur.

CM Yogi said, "Today the development journey of Rampur district will get new momentum and a new direction. 102 development projects worth more than Rs 690 crore will be inaugurated/foundation stone laid in Milak and Bilaspur assembly constituencies of Rampur."

He further said, "It is with full confidence that these development-oriented projects dedicated to public service, public convenience and public welfare will give a new impetus to the development of Rampur, make public life more convenient and provide new strength to the resolve of 'Developed Uttar Pradesh'."
