Felix Nmecha is reportedly keen on a transfer to either Manchester City or Manchester United, according to a report from Bild.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has attracted attention from several top European clubs in recent months, particularly following his impressive performances for Germany at the World Cup, which have fuelled speculation about his next move.

While Newcastle United have also shown interest in securing his signature, the report suggests that both Manchester clubs remain the more appealing options for Nmecha at this stage.

In addition to Premier League interest, the 23-year-old has been linked with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. Nmecha spent his developmental years at Manchester City’s academy, where he made three senior appearances before moving to VfL Wolfsburg in 2021.

After two seasons at Volkswagen Arena, he joined Borussia Dortmund in 2023. Since then, Nmecha has extended his contract with the German club until 2030, with no release clause applicable during the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, it is understood that a release clause valued at €80 million will become active in 2027, before reducing to €70 million in 2028, giving potential suitors a future opportunity to secure his services.
