This drive aims to fill 6,565 vacancies for Technician Grade I (Signal) and Technician Grade III posts in the railways. The online application process begins today, June 30, and the deadline to apply is July 29. The recruitment process will consist of three stages; the first stage will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Major railway zones with a high number of vacancies include Central Railway (Mumbai), Southern Railway (Chennai), Northern Railway (New Delhi), and Northeast Frontier Railway. Candidates from across the country can apply for these posts, as the job locations will be spread across various railway zones in India.

**Who Can Apply**
For the RRB Technician Recruitment 2026, candidates must have passed the 10th standard or SSLC examination. Additionally, they must possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized institution. Candidates holding an Act Apprenticeship certificate in the relevant trade are also eligible for several of these posts.

**Age Limit**
For the Technician Grade III post, candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age, whereas the age limit for the Technician Grade I (Signal) post is 18 to 33 years. Reserved categories are entitled to age relaxation as per government regulations.
