Vodafone Idea (Vi) has announced a partnership with Spotify to offer complimentary Spotify Premium access for 3 months to its eligible Postpaid users in India at no additional cost. The benefit is available upon activation or retention of their Vi Postpaid connection and can be activated through the We app.

The partnership is included as a fixed benefit across select Vi Postpaid plans:
Individual Postpaid Plans (₹451, ₹551, ₹751, ₹1201 REDX)
Family Postpaid Plans (₹701/₹751, ₹871, ₹1201/₹1301, ₹1401/₹1526, ₹1601 REDX Family)
For Family plans, the Spotify Premium benefit applies only to the primary member.

After the 3-month complimentary period ends, users can continue their Spotify Premium subscription through Vi’s “Add to Bill” facility at ₹139 per month (including GST). Users who deactivate the service before the expiry of the free trial period will not be charged monthly subscription charges, but deactivation is only possible during the last 15 days of the free trial.
The offer applies to Spotify Premium Individual plans onlyand users who have already used Spotify Premium in the past won’t be eligible for the free trial. This partnership represents Vi’s effort to enhance its postpaid value proposition and compete with rivals like Airtel and Jio by bundling premium streaming services with connectivity.
