Will you stop taking out the dirt?’ In the reel, a young man is seen mimicking Samay Raina. Sunil Pal further jokingly said, ‘Samay Raina, I forgive you only because your show comes at night and your name is also Raatwala. Samay means time, Raina means night.

Alia Bhatt and Sharvari became guests for promotion in the first episode of ‘India’s Got Latent’ Season 2. In the same episode, Samay Raina had made a joke on Sunil Pal saying ‘Why don’t you brush’, to which Sunil Pal has now replied.

When did the controversy start?

There is an old rivalry between Sunil Pal and Samay Raina. During the ‘India’s Got Latent’ controversy earlier this year, Sunil Pal had even called Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia ‘terrorists’. He had said that both should be jailed for at least 10 years.

Samay Raina had repeatedly roasted Sunil Pal in the World Laughter Day special episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ in May 2025. Sunil Pal later claimed that he was targeted on the show. Now with the arrival of ‘India’s Got Latent’ Season 2, the war of words has started again between the two.
