Samajwadi Party has announced a special campaign on the birthday of its national president and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav with a pledge to save the environment and social justice. In fact, the party will start the ‘PDA Tree’ campaign on Akhilesh Yadav’s birthday on July 1, which will be run across Uttar Pradesh from July 1 to 7, 2026. Under this special campaign, saplings will be planted on a large scale in the entire state and a target has also been set to connect new people to the party.

In fact, in the recently held Lok Sabha elections, the slogan of ‘PDA’ (Backward, Dalit, Minority) given by Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav had proved to be very effective for the party. On the basis of this slogan, the party had won a landslide victory on 37 out of total 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh. Now the party is working towards strengthening its hold at the grassroots level by linking this thinking with environmental and social issues.

Target to connect needy and troubled families

The main objective of the party is to connect the needy and troubled families with its thinking. Samajwadi Party state president Shyam Lal Pal has issued a letter in this regard to officials and workers of all the districts of the state including Lucknow. According to the letter, during the campaign, party workers will reach out with a feeling of ‘love, kindness and belonging’ to those families who feel ‘victimized, saddened and humiliated’. These families will be told about the thinking of Samajwadi Party and they will be motivated to take membership of the party.

In fact, according to the information received from SP headquarters, State President Shyam Lal Pal has made it clear that it is very important to have a system based on social justice to establish an equal society and save human values. This seven-day special campaign will be run with many important objectives.

Under this campaign, keeping in mind the goal of pollution-free India, saplings will be planted on a large scale in every assembly constituency. Through this initiative, the workers will not only reiterate their commitment towards saving the environment, but will also pledge to strengthen the spirit of equality, freedom and brotherhood in the society. Apart from this, a comprehensive public awareness campaign will also be conducted to save the Constitution, democracy and reservation, following the values ​​established by Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Through this campaign, Samajwadi Party is trying to strengthen its political base as well as give a positive and inclusive message to the society.
