The results for the Bihar B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (CET-BEd) 2026 have been officially announced. Candidates who took the exam can now access their scorecards via the official website, biharcetbed-brabu.in. This year, the top rank was jointly achieved by Himanshu Ajnabi from Vaishali and Vivek Kumar from Katihar, both scoring 117 marks. Among female candidates, Anjani Kumari from Sitamarhi secured the highest score with 116 marks.

Online Counseling Process Begins

Following the announcement of results, the online counseling process is set to commence. Candidates will need to submit their college preferences within the designated timeframe, which will be used for seat allotment.

**Male Candidates Dominate the Top 10**

The merit list reveals that out of the top 10 candidates, six are male and four are female. Notably, Priyanka Paswan from Begusarai also excelled, achieving 116 marks. The examination took place on June 7 at 180 centers statewide, with a total of 112,440 candidates participating. In the results for the 'Shiksha Shastri' course, Ramdev Kumar from Madhubani topped the category with 104 marks.

As per State Nodal Officer Prof. Sanjay Kumar, the online counseling will begin after the results are declared. Candidates can select their preferred colleges from June 20 to June 23, with the option to choose between three to ten colleges affiliated with any university.

Seat Allotment and Fees

**Rs 3,000 Fee Required to Secure a Seat**

Colleges will be assigned based on the merit list. Candidates must pay a counseling fee of Rs 3,000 to secure their allotted seat. If the admission process is not completed within the specified timeframe, the seat will be automatically canceled. During the admission process, universities will verify all necessary educational documents. This year, over 37,000 seats are available for admission.

A total of 123,327 candidates applied for the B.Ed. entrance exam, resulting in a competitive ratio of approximately three candidates for each available seat. Pataliputra University offers the largest number of seats at 6,400, followed by BRA Bihar University with 6,200 seats and Magadh University with 6,000 seats.
