Minister in-charge, District Ambedkar Nagar and Cabinet Minister, Panchayati Raj and Minority Welfare, Muslim Waqf and Haj Department, Om Prakash Rajbhar met the families affected by the fire incident that took place in village Langri Prithvipurwa, Maypur of Tehsil and development block Tanda area on 09 June 2026, to know about their well-being and assured them of all possible assistance. On this occasion, the Minister in-charge along with District Panchayat President Shyam Sundar Verma (Sadhu Verma), former MP Ritesh Pandey and other public representatives and officials reached the residence of the affected families and got information about the incident and expressed condolences to them.
The minister in charge provided financial assistance to the five affected families. He also directed the concerned officials to provide the benefits of Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana to the two affected families. Apart from this, instructions were also given to complete the repair work of toilets of all the five affected families soon.
While directing the officers, he said that the benefits of various public welfare schemes of the government should be made available to the affected families on priority basis and all the necessary works to relief and rehabilitation should be ensured in a time bound manner.
During this, District Panchayat Raj Officer, Deputy District Magistrate Tanda, Tehsildar Tanda, Block Development Officer Tanda and other concerned officers were present.
