A major update has been released for candidates appearing in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the city intimation slip for the exam scheduled for June 21, 2026. Through this, candidates can find out which city their examination center is located in. Candidates can access this information by visiting the official website and using their application number and password.

However, the NTA has clarified that this is merely an intimation regarding the exam city and should not be considered an admit card. Candidates are advised to download their city slip in a timely manner and keep an eye out for further updates.

**Exam to be held at 2 PM**
According to the NTA, the NEET UG re-examination will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. The exam is scheduled to take place from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. It will be conducted across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad, providing an opportunity for candidates located both within the country and overseas to participate.

**City slip is not the admit card**
The NTA has clearly informed candidates that the city intimation slip is issued solely to provide information about the exam city. It cannot be used for entry into the examination center. A separate admit card, which will be issued later, is mandatory for appearing in the exam.
