Amidst media reports and social media posts regarding the Post-Result Services Portal, the CBSE issued a clarification stating that the application process for verification and re-evaluation proceeded smoothly and according to schedule. According to the Board, the application window for verification and re-evaluation remained open from June 2 to June 7, with the entire process managed and monitored by government technical agencies and IIT teams.

The CBSE reported that during this period, over 1.6 lakh students successfully submitted requests concerning more than 3.8 lakh answer sheets. The Board stated that cybersecurity teams continuously monitored the system throughout the application process to prevent cyberattacks, malicious traffic, or technical glitches.

**Student Support and Application Process**
Additionally, dedicated CBSE teams provided continuous support to students through helplines, help centers, and grievance redressal channels. The CBSE also clarified the issue regarding "Roll Number Not Found" messages; according to the Board, this message appeared for students who had not applied during the first phase—the application window for obtaining photocopies of answer books.

The Board reiterated that the subsequent steps of verification and re-evaluation were available only to those students who had applied for scanned copies of their answer books during the initial phase. The CBSE affirmed its commitment to ensuring a transparent, student-centric, and simplified post-result process and stated that it is continuously working to resolve student grievances.

**Re-evaluation via OSM System**
The re-evaluation of CBSE Class 12 answer sheets will now be conducted on the Board's own portal using the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system. An IIT review panel has approved this proposal. The panel had identified several security vulnerabilities in the Coempt EduTeck portal, which posed a risk of leaking sensitive data and records.
