Massive Fire Erupts at Milwaukee Scrapyard, Firefighters Respond

On Thursday, firefighters in Milwaukee were dispatched to tackle a significant fire at a scrapyard located near the intersection of 16th Street and Bruce Street. Thick smoke was seen billowing into the sky, alarming local residents. The incident was reported at a scrapyard situated at 1640 W. Bruce Street. Upon arrival, Battalion 10 escalated the situation to a second alarm, indicating the need for more firefighting resources to manage the flames.
Fire officials also called for a high-capacity rig to assist in the firefighting efforts. Eyewitness accounts and images from the scene depicted a large plume of smoke rising from the scrapyard, capturing the attention of nearby motorists and residents.
