The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has issued important guidelines for candidates regarding the UP Police Constable recruitment examination. A strict ban has been imposed on the discussion and analysis of examination question papers on social media. The Board has explicitly stated that sharing the question paper, or any material related to it, will be considered a punishable offense, and legal as well as disciplinary action will be taken against those who violate these rules. The Board asserts that this restriction has been implemented to uphold the integrity and fairness of the examination.
According to the Board, if any individual is found disseminating the question paper or examination material—whether verbally, in writing, electronically, or through any other medium—legal and departmental action may be initiated against them. These directives have been issued under the Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.
**Taking OMR Sheets Out of the Center is a Crime**
In its notice, the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has also stated that taking the original OMR sheet out of the examination center will be categorized as a serious violation of the rules. Furthermore, retaining examination material without permission or misusing it will also be deemed a punishable offense. In such instances, action will be taken against the concerned individual in accordance with the applicable rules.
**Emphasis on Maintaining Examination Transparency**
The Board has affirmed that to ensure a fair and transparent examination process, all candidates must strictly adhere to the prescribed rules. The Board has indicated that a close watch will be kept on social media platforms and other digital mediums. If the activities of any individual are found to be suspicious, or if they are found sharing confidential information related to the examination, immediate action may be taken against them.
**Advice to Steer Clear of Rumors**
The UP Police Recruitment Board has appealed to candidates to remain vigilant against fake question papers, rumors, and misleading information. For any information regarding the examination, candidates should rely solely on the Board's official website and official notices. Candidates are also advised to regularly check the website for updates issued from time to time.
**When is the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination?** The written examination for the UP Police Constable recruitment is scheduled to commence on June 8, for which the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will release admit cards on its official website starting June 5.
