CBSE has issued an important notification for Class 12 students who have received scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets. The Board has initiated an online application process for the verification of potential errors in the answer sheets and for the re-evaluation of answers. Students may submit their applications on the portal within the stipulated deadline. This entire process will be conducted online, and logging in using an Aadhaar number is mandatory. The Board has advised students to carefully verify all details while filling out the application form and to submit the requisite fees promptly.
**Login Required via Aadhaar Number**
To apply, students must log in to the official CBSE website. It is mandatory to enter one's Aadhaar number during the login process on the portal. Once logged in, students can select either the 'Verification' or 'Re-evaluation' option, depending on their specific requirements.
**Applications Accepted Until June 6**
According to the Board, the application process commenced on June 2, 2026, and will remain open until midnight on June 6, 2026. No requests—whether online or offline—will be accepted once the prescribed deadline has expired. Therefore, students are advised to pay close attention to the final submission date.
**What is the Fee Structure?**
A fee of ₹100 per answer sheet has been prescribed for the verification of errors identified in the scanned copies of the answer sheets. Conversely, for the re-evaluation of a specific question, a fee of ₹25 per question is applicable. Payments can be made exclusively through online modes, such as UPI, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, and Net Banking.
**Grounds for Requesting Verification**
Students may apply for verification if they encounter issues such as missing pages in the scanned copy, the omission of supplementary answer sheets, illegible maps or graphs, blurred pages, or if it appears that the evaluation was conducted based on an incorrect answer sheet. Multiple subjects and issues may be included within a single application.
**Key Points to Note During Re-evaluation**
When applying for re-evaluation, students are required to provide specific details, such as the relevant question numbers and corresponding page numbers. All requests related to specific subjects and questions must be submitted before the final submission. Once the "Freeze and Proceed to Payment" option is selected, no further changes can be made to any of the details.
**Track Application Status**
The CBSE has clarified that only one application each will be accepted for verification and re-evaluation. Upon the successful submission of the application and payment, students will be able to view and download the status of their requests via the portal. Once the verification process is complete, the Board will make the verification results available to the concerned students.
