Virat scored unbeaten 75 runs in 42 balls against Gujarat Titans
New Delhi. Virat Kohli’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma believes that the star batsman’s stellar performance in the IPL final has proved that along with power-hitting, technique and patience are equally important in the shortest format. Kohli scored an unbeaten 75 off 42 balls, which included nine fours and three sixes, in Royal Challengers Bangalore’s five-wicket win over Gujarat Titans in the IPL final.
Rajkumar Sharma said, it is a lesson for the young players that this format is not limited to just power hitting or hitting sixes. If your technique is good then you can score big and Virat proved this today.
He said, if you have good technique and passion and you can maintain patience then you will get success. This is what Virat has been doing for his franchise as well as Indian cricket for so long. He is an example for young players on how to play T20 cricket.
