Ahmedabad: In IPL 2026, Rajasthan Royals’ young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi surprised everyone with his stormy performance. At the age of just 15, the confidence and aggressive style with which he batted made him the most talked about player of the season. After winning the Orange Cap, Vaibhav also told the secret of his success.

The biggest lesson is playing under pressure

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who batted brilliantly throughout the season, said that the biggest lesson he learned from this IPL was to handle himself in pressure matches. He said that batting cannot be done the same way in every match.

According to Vaibhav, the player should understand the match situation and make changes in his game as per the need of the team. He admitted that big matches like playoffs made him mentally stronger.

Created a stir with record breaking batting

Even though Rajasthan Royals could not reach the final, Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s performance stood out in the entire tournament. He scored 776 runs in 16 innings and his strike rate was more than 237.

The young batsman hit 72 sixes in the entire season and with this he also left behind Chris Gayle’s record of most sixes in a season. His explosive batting had increased the problems of the bowlers.

Gave a funny answer to Ravi Shastri’s question

In the post match presentation, former Indian coach Ravi Shastri jokingly asked Vaibhav how much milk he drinks. To this Vaibhav smiled and replied that he no longer drinks milk. He said that he only trusts his game. If the ball comes to his favorite area then he tries to play a big shot without any fear.

There will be full focus on fitness

Vaibhav Suryavanshi clearly said that now his next goal is to improve his fitness. He believes that fitness is very important to play cricket for a long time and avoid injuries. He said that in the coming time, he will work harder on his training and fitness so that he can perform well continuously.
