CBSE OSM Row: Amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding On-Screen Marking (OSM), CBSE has issued a clarification. On the social media platform 'X', the Board stated that it is closely monitoring the vulnerabilities reported in the public domain regarding the 'OnMark' portal of its service provider.
CBSE noted that, over the past few days, an expert team of cybersecurity professionals drawn from various government departments and IITs has been deployed to fortify these systems. This initiative includes migrating these systems to a more secure infrastructure.
The Board further added that the vulnerabilities identified earlier have been rectified. Additionally, investigations are currently underway to identify and address any other potential vulnerabilities that could be exploited.
**Gratitude Expressed to Ethical Hackers**
CBSE also expressed its gratitude to ethical hackers and vigilant citizens. The Board stated, "We are grateful to all vigilant citizens and ethical hackers who drew our attention to these vulnerabilities." The Board has also reached out to some of these individuals.
**Suggestions Can Be Submitted to CBSE**
While expressing its appreciation to vigilant citizens and ethical hackers, CBSE has also released an email ID for submitting suggestions. The Board stated that for any further information or suggestions, its security team can be contacted via the email address: secy-cbse@nic.in.
