Every Footballer Who Has Scored in Multiple UEFA Champions League Finals

Kai Havertz etched his name into football history by finding the net for Arsenal against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday evening.

This marked the second occasion the German international has scored in a Champions League final, having previously netted the decisive goal for Chelsea against Manchester City in 2021, which secured the Blues their second European crown.

In this year’s final, Havertz opened the scoring early on, sprinting through the defence before sending a powerful shot over the goalkeeper and into the top corner.

Although Arsenal eventually lost to PSG in a penalty shootout in Budapest, the 26-year-old can take pride in joining an elite group of players who have scored in multiple Champions League finals.

Havertz became only the ninth player ever to achieve this feat, joining the ranks of stars like Lionel Messi, Raúl González, Samuel Eto’o, and Gareth Bale, among others.

Even more impressively, he is just the third footballer to have scored in finals for more than one club, following in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo and Mario Mandžukić.

With Arsenal expected to remain strong contenders for Europe’s top prize in the coming seasons, Havertz may have his sights set on equalling Ronaldo’s record of scoring in three different finals — a milestone that could well be within his reach.

Cristiano Ronaldo – 3 (Manchester United 2007/08, Real Madrid 2013/14, 2016/17)

Raúl González – 2 (Real Madrid 1999/2000, 2001/02)

Samuel Eto’o – 2 (Barcelona 2005/06, 2008/09)

Lionel Messi – 2 (Barcelona 2008/09, 2010/11)

Sergio Ramos – 2 (Real Madrid 2013/14, 2015/16)

Mario Mandžukić – 2 (Bayern Munich 2012/13, Juventus 2016/17)

Gareth Bale – 2 (Real Madrid 2013/14, 2017/18)

Vinícius Júnior – 2 (Real Madrid 2021/22, 2023/24)

Kai Havertz – 2 (Chelsea 2020/21, Arsenal 2025/26)
