Raids on CM Pinarayi Vijayan’s Premises: After losing power in Kerala, the troubles of former CM Pinarayi Vijayan seem to be increasing. ED has taken major action and raided Vijayan’s premises. This action has been taken in the alleged money laundering case to the IT firm ‘Exalogic Solutions’ of former CM’s daughter Veena Vijayan.

According to media reports, ED conducted searches at about 10 places in Kerala under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). These included Vijayan’s rented residence in the state capital Thiruvananthapuram. If sources are to be believed, this action of ED is part of the investigation into suspicious financial transactions between Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL) and Veena Vijayan’s company ‘Axalogic Solutions’.
Let us tell you that the Kerala High Court has given permission to continue the ED investigation in the Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL) financial transaction case to former Kerala Chief Minister P. Vijayan. Allegations that CMRL had made monthly payments to Veena Vijayan’s company without providing any actual service had sparked a political row in the state. The opposition had repeatedly raised questions on the then CM Pinarayi Vijayan and his family.
