With the 2026 FIFA World Cup fast approaching, not only are national teams gearing up for the tournament in North America, but television networks are also assembling their top presenters and analysts to deliver coverage from the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Here’s the comprehensive guide to every broadcaster holding rights around the world.
As usual, the BBC and ITV will jointly air the 2026 World Cup across the United Kingdom, with all matches available free-to-air in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Both networks will have their own coverage of the final, and matches involving the home nations will be divided between them.
In the United States, all 104 matches of the tournament will be broadcast across Fox Sports platforms. Seventy games will be televised on the main Fox network, while thirty-four fixtures will air on FS1. Spanish-language broadcasts will be available through NBC Universal’s Telemundo network throughout the event.
Fans in Australia can stream every one of the 104 matches via SBS On Demand, while selected top games will also be televised on SBS and SBS Viceland. In New Zealand, viewers can follow the All Whites and other key fixtures for free on TVNZ and TVNZ+, with all matches available through the TVNZ+ Event Pass.
In South Africa, the public broadcaster SABC will lead the 2026 World Cup coverage, airing matches across its various channels as well as through the SABC Plus streaming service.
Across France, beIN Sports will broadcast all 104 matches on its subscription channels, while 54 matches will also air free-to-air on the commercial network M6.
In Spain, fans can watch World Cup 2026 matches for free on RTVE, while DAZN, under an agreement with Mediapro, will stream all 104 games as part of a paid package.
German viewers can follow every match on Magenta Sport, a service by Deutsche Telekom that secured exclusive rights to all 104 games. Public broadcasters ARD and ZDF will each show 30 matches.
In Italy, DAZN will stream all 104 matches live. Meanwhile, Rai has obtained the free-to-air rights for 35 matches to be shown during June and July.
