Oppo Smartphone Launched: Tech company Oppo has launched two new 5G smartphones under its Reno series. The smartphones launched by the company include Oppo Reno 16 Pro and Reno 16. The company has launched two of its new smartphones at the May 2026 launch event. Along with this, the company has also launched the flagship Oppo Pad 6 tablet at this event. Oppo Reno 16 Pro, Oppo Reno 16 Price and Availability

The 12GB+256GB variant of the Oppo Reno 16 smartphone has been priced at 3499 Yuan which is around Rs 49,040. The 16GB+256GB variant of the device is priced at 3899 Yuan which is around Rs 54,650 and the 12GB+512GB variant is priced at 3999 Yuan which is around Rs 56,050. The 12GB+256GB variant of the Oppo Reno 16 Pro smartphone is priced at 4499 Yuan which is around Rs 63,000 and the 12GB+512GB variant is priced at 4899 Yuan which is around Rs 68,665. The 16GB+512GB variant of the device is priced at 5299 Yuan which is around Rs 74,260. Both the new smartphones will go on sale in China from May 29 through the Oppo Online Store. Oppo Reno 16 is available in Galaxy Purple, Heartbeat and Moonlight is Dark colors, while Oppo Reno 16 Pro comes in Dream White, Heartbeat and Moonlight is Dark shades.

Talking about the features and specifications of the new smartphone, the Pro model of the series features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate support. The device will have a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. Oppo Reno 16, on the other hand, features a 6.32-inch 1.5K OLED display with 460 ppi pixel density and the same features as the Pro model.

The Oppo Reno 16 Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dementia 9500s chipset. The non-pro Reno 16 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dementia 8550 Super processor. Both devices are equipped with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. Both the devices have an IP69K rating for protection against dust and water.

Camera

For photography, Oppo Reno 16 Pro and Oppo Reno 16 will get the same triple rear camera setup. The device will feature a 200-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera, which will also feature optical image stabilization. The device also sports a 50-megapixel (f/2.0) ultra-wide camera on the back, along with a 50-megapixel (f/2.8) periscope telephoto lens. The phone has a 50-megapixel (f/2.0) front camera for selfies and video calling. The device can record videos in quality up to 4K/60 fps.

The company has provided a 7,000mAh battery in the Pro model launched by the company. Reno 16 has a 6,700mAh battery. Both devices support 80W wired fast charging.
