Various documents are required for various government and non-government works in India and we talk about the Aadhaar card, then this is used for getting SIM, opening a bank account, getting admission in school, and admission in college etc., in such a situation, if it is lost or stolen, then it can become a cause of trouble, if this has happened to you too, then do not worry, you can get your Aadhaar card sitting at home, let's know its complete process-
You can get your Aadhaar back using any one of the following details:
- Aadhaar number
- Enrollment ID
- Aadhaar Virtual ID
- Registered mobile number or email
Downloading your e-Aadhaar
For those who already know their Aadhaar number, downloading e-Aadhaar is easy. You can do this through the UIDAI website or mAadhaar app.
Through the UIDAI website:
- Visit UIDAI website myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
- Click on 'Download Aadhaar'.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code.
- You will receive a 4-digit OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP.
- Click on 'Submit' to download your e-Aadhaar in PDF format.
- Save the PDF file for future reference.
mAadhaar app:
- Download the mAadhaar app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Open the app and sign in using your Aadhaar number and biometrics.
- Tap on 'My Aadhaar'.
- Select 'e-Aadhaar' under 'Download Aadhaar'.
- Enter the 4-digit OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- Click on 'Submit' to download your e-Aadhaar in PDF format.
- Save the PDF for future use.
- Getting a PVC Aadhaar Card
- If you want a physical Aadhaar card, you can apply for a PVC Aadhaar card through the UIDAI website.
