Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal made a key announcement. An important point regarding LPG cylinders has been disclosed. Gas cylinders will be available with QR codes in the coming days, he said. That means many services will be available through QR codes.

He explained that the QR code will increase the tracking of cylinders, they can also be traced, ensure proper inventory management and curb the illegal market.
He revealed that this QR code aspect has been incorporated in the draft Gas Cylinders Rules. He said that the final decision will be announced soon. He revealed these points in a meeting of petroleum, explosives, fire workers and other industry groups held in the national capital on Wednesday.
He explained that when it comes to the licenses issued by the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESSO), an 80 per cent discount for women entrepreneurs and a 50 per cent discount for MSMEs will be available in the licensing fee.
At the same time, the minister directed the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO) to design necessary safety measures so that petrol pumps are operational even within 30-50 meters of residences.
Whereas in Telugu states, the price of a 14.2 kg gas cylinder is Rs. 860. But if you look at the region-wise. There may be changes in this price. But for the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme, on the cylinder Rs. 300 subsidy is available. A cylinder is available in Telangana for Rs.500 only. The government is providing subsidies.
On the other hand, the free gas cylinder scheme will be implemented in AP as well. However, it is not yet known when this scheme will be implemented. Key aspects of this scheme will be revealed soon. This will give relief to many people.
