National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) can approve the Third-Party Application Provider (TPAP) license to Paytm by this week i.e. by March 15. Sources having knowledge of this matter have given this information. Come, let us know about the complete news.
UPI payments will continue
After getting a TPAP license, customers will be able to continue UPI payments through Paytm. RBI has asked Paytm Payments Bank to stop most of the services from March 15 for not following the rules. Paytm's TPAP license is held by Paytm Payments Bank.
Paytm did not break its silence
UPI, operated by NPCI, is a real-time payment system that allows users to send money from bank to bank. NPCI has not given any reaction to this report. At the same time, Paytm has refused to give any reaction regarding this.
Let us tell you that last month Reuters had said in a report that Paytm can tie up with Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI, and Yes Bank to continue UPI payments.
