Authorities in Cambridge reported that several individuals were shot on Memorial Drive on Monday following sightings of an armed individual with a rifle. Officers from the Massachusetts State Police quickly arrived at the location, specifically at 808 Memorial Drive, where gunfire erupted. During the altercation, a 20-year-old male suspect was shot by the police and was subdued at the scene.

Emergency medical personnel were dispatched to assist at least three individuals who sustained gunshot injuries, as per initial reports. As of now, officials have not disclosed the victims' conditions or the events that led to the shooting. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
