Salaries of government employees increased

After increasing DA by 2 percent in UP, 25 lakh employees of the state government will get its benefit. These also include government teasers, whose number is around 10 lakh. The direct benefit of the increased 2 percent dearness allowance is to be given to the state employees along with their salary for the month of May. This means that the salary for May will increase in June.

The decision will be implemented from January 2026

The government has made it clear that the increased dearness allowance will be considered effective from January 1, 2026. In such a situation, employees may also get payment of arrears from the previous date. It is believed that it can be paid into the accounts of the employees in the coming months.

Lakhs of employees will get benefits

This decision has been taken by the Uttar Pradesh government after the DA increase order of the Central Government. Experts say that Yogi government’s decision to increase DA by 2 percent will benefit about 20 lakh government employees, teachers and pensioners.

Along with this, the state employees have got a big relief in this era of inflation by increasing the dearness allowance by 2 percent. After the implementation of this decision of the Yogi government, now the dearness allowance (DA) of the employees has directly increased from 58 percent to 60 percent.
