IPL 2026: Rasikh Dar takes match-winning three-fer in Dharamsala

Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) reached the IPL 2026 playoffs after handing Punjab Kings (PBKS) their sixth successive defeat.

Their win was marked by a stellar opening spell from Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who stunned PBKS' top order. And Rasikh Salam Dar took successive wickets to seal RCB's win.

Chasing 223, the Kings slumped to 19/3 before recovering. They eventually fell 23 runs short.

PBKS was rocked early by Bhuvneshwar's brilliance. He removed both openers, Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh, in successive overs.

And Rasikh Dar dismissed Shreyas Iyer, reducing PBKS to 19/3. The pacer later returned to bowl the final, where PBKS required 33 runs.

He dismissed a well-set Shashank Singh and Azmatullah Omarzai, recording 3/36 in four overs.
