KFC has unveiled its latest menu changes, with an old classic reappearing after 10 years. Kentucky Fried Chicken brought back its Supercharger Sub, which has not been sold since 2016, on Monday (May 18).

Back by popular demand, the Supercharger Sub appears with the new Garlic Parm Sub in what KFC described as a "flavour revolution". But the range is available for a limited period. KFC urged fast-food lovers to grab their favourite Subs, Garlic Parm Loaded Fries or the "mighty" Supercharger Dipping Feast before June 14, when they will no longer be available.

The Supercharger Sub includes two mini-fillets, cheese, lettuce and spicy Supercharger mayo.

KFC's Garlic Parmesan Sub has more garlic, with mayonnaise replaced with a Garlic Parmesan sauce.

The same sauce appears on KFC's new Garlic Parm Loaded Fries, which are topped with Popcorn Chicken.

And the chain's Supercharger Dipping Feast includes up to 14 mini-fillets, two Dirty Loaded Fries and two Regular Signature Fries.

In addition to that there are two Large Sides, plus a choice of two Original Dips and a large bottle of drink. KFC describes the feast as "pure indulgence".

The new Supercharger Sub replaces KFC's Daredevil range as the Daredevil Zinger Burger, Daredevil Box Meal, Daredevil Zinger Burger Meal and Daredevil Loaded Fries are taken off the menu.

A test of how much heat customers could handle, the Daredevil range featured sauces ranked hot, hotter and hottest.

Mild sweet chilli, medium zingy supercharger and extra hot sriracha firecracker were on offer, but no longer.

KFC is not the only chain to switch up its menu and offer certain items for limited periods.

McDonald's Double Big Tasty, Mozzarella Dippers, Mozzarella Dippers Sharebox are just a few available for a set time.

The approach is used to generate a sense of urgency among customers eager to enjoy their favourites before they disappear from menus again.
