Stockholm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached the beautiful city of Gothenburg in Sweden for a two-day visit from 17-18 May on the special invitation of Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. There was great enthusiasm in the Indian community on his arrival and grand scenes of welcome were witnessed.
This tour is the second phase of Prime Minister Modi’s visit to five countries. Earlier, he completed his tour of Netherlands, from where Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten bid farewell to him at Schiphol Airport while leaving for Sweden.
Focus on trade, defense and AI cooperation-
In the high-level talks to be held between the top leaders of the two countries, important topics like trade, investment, defence, security, green transition, Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies will be discussed.
This visit is considered very important with the aim of further strengthening the strategic partnership between India and Sweden. Especially the eyes of both the countries are on increasing cooperation in the field of green technology and innovation.
Enthusiasm in the Indian community-
A large number of people from the Indian community arrived in Gothenburg to welcome Prime Minister Modi. PM Modi was given a warm welcome amid the Indian tricolor and welcome slogans.
