Salman, one of the biggest superstars of Bollywood, said that he never read the script of any film in his entire film career.
Recently, in an interview given to Variety India, Salman Khan spoke openly about his personal and professional life. The promo of the conversation went viral on social media as soon as it was released.
‘I have written scripts, not read them’
Talking about the film making process, Salman revealed that he has never read a script in his entire career. In the video, Salman can be heard saying, “I’ve never read a script in my entire life. I have written scripts but never read them.”
However, Salman has hinted many times before that he gives more importance to the feel, treatment and commercial appeal of the films rather than reading the entire text of the story.
Salman Khan will be seen in ‘Mathrubhoomi’
Talking about work front, Salman Khan will soon be seen in the film Mathrubhumi. Earlier the name of this film was being said to be ‘Battle of Galwan’ and it was being said that its story is inspired by the conflict between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Galwan Valley.
However, now many changes have been made in the film. According to reports, the name of the film has been changed and many references to China and Galwan Valley have been removed. Besides, reshoots are also being done on a large scale in the project.
Will play the role of an army officer in the film
Salman Khan will be seen playing the role of an Indian Army colonel in the film Mathrubhumi. The film is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Chitrangada Singh will also be seen in an important role in the film. At present its release date has not been revealed.
Will be seen with Nayanthara on Eid 2027
Apart from this, Salman Khan has also locked his new film for Eid 2027, in which South superstar Nayanthara will be seen with him. Currently the film is being tentatively called SVC63. This film will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally.
