Delhi. Sugar company Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd. The consolidated net profit of the company declined by 30 percent to Rs 159.56 crore in the January-March quarter of the financial year 2025-26. The company’s profit has declined mainly due to higher expenses. A year ago, in the same quarter of 2024-25, the company had made a net profit of Rs 229.12 crore.
In the information given to the stock market on Friday, the company said that the total income in the January-March quarter of the financial year 2025-26 increased by seven percent to Rs 1,616.23 crore as against Rs 1,513.16 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Total operating expenses increased to Rs 1,389.46 crore from Rs 1,212.02 crore in the same quarter of 2024-25 a year ago.
Net profit for the entire financial year 2025-26 declined to Rs 378.46 crore from Rs 436.92 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Total income increased to Rs 6,307.95 crore in the last financial year, while it was Rs 5,504.19 crore in 2024-25.
