London is set to be hit by more Tube strike chaos this week, with another London Underground walkout inflicting distupion across many lines. The latest move comes following last month's Tube strikes, with another walkout scheduled to begin on Tuesday at 12pm, causing disruption into Friday.
Drivers are striking over the voluntary introduction of a four-day week with condensed hours. Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) members have voted to oppose the changes, with the union insisting Transport for London (TfL) "has not made any attempt to engage in negotiation meetings to resolve this dispute". TfL has branded the strikes "disappointing" and made clear drivers "can remain on a five-day working pattern".
