That midnight tweet: When PM Modi himself had to take command
Generally, clarification on policy matters comes from the ministry level, but this time, considering the sensitivity of the matter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself had to intervene. In a rare and extremely strong move, PM Modi directly refuted a media report on social media platform 'X' (Twitter).
Its not accurate, its totally false and Prime Minister Modiji himself had to fact check it. https://t.co/QepczmeKtSpic.twitter.com/aW5VkYROjx

The Prime Minister wrote clearly: "This is completely false. There is no iota of truth in it. There is no question of imposing such restrictions on foreign travel. We are committed to improving the 'ease of doing business' and 'ease of living' for our people." This statement of PM has given great relief to millions of Indian travelers who were afraid of any such restriction or additional tax.
